GREEN BUILDING
Green Building - sustainability for buildings
At SAUTER, Green Building does not just stand for sustainable buildings, but also for everything that is connected with the building: this starts with the planning, continues with the building, and is maintained in the building operation. With its three dimensions, the SAUTER sustainability concept considers the entire life cycle of a building:
1. Ecological sustainability
We see ecological sustainability as all the measures that protect the environment we share. This includes the sparing, efficient consumption of resources, conscious handling of materials, and also avoiding waste or disposing of it in an environmentally-friendly way.On the basis of its great responsibility to the environment, SAUTER developed the ECO10 catalogue of measures for increasing energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Using the measures contained in the catalogue, we can now achieve savings of up to 50%. Additionally, we integrate renewable energy sources wherever possible.
2. Economic sustainability
By increasing energy efficiency, you effectively reduce the incurred operating costs, such as energy, maintenance, service and other costs. You thus achieve economic as well as ecological sustainability.
3. Socio-structural/functional sustainability
For us, socio-structural and functional sustainability in buildings means: ensuring user-friendliness to maintain optimum utilisation. Because only when users feels comfortable in your building can it achieve its potential and its full functionality.
Supported by these three pillars that govern everything we do - from the planning to the implementation - SAUTER achieves a high satisfaction level for all stakeholders, low operating costs and a smaller CO2 footprint.
We create sustainable environments. You, too, can benefit from this.
